About SSCIMM
Objectives
The Serbian Society for Cheminformatics and Molecular Modeling (SSCIMM) is a voluntary, scientific and professional, non-governmental and non-profit association established to advance research and development in the fields of cheminformatics, molecular modeling, and computational chemistry.
The Society is headquartered in Kragujevac and operates throughout the Republic of Serbia, with strong cooperation with national and international scientific institutions.
SSCIMM brings together researchers, educators, students, and professionals who apply computational methods in chemistry, pharmacy, biomedicine, and materials science to increase the quality, visibility, and impact of these disciplines in Serbia.
The objectives of the Society are to:
- promote the development of cheminformatics and molecular modeling in Serbia;
- support scientific research in computational chemistry;
- connect researchers, educators, students, and professionals from related fields;
- promote the application of modern computational methods in chemistry, pharmacy, and biomedicine;
- support early-career researchers and students;
- facilitate the exchange of knowledge, data, and scientific results;
- promote professional and ethical standards;
- contribute to open science, reproducibility, and scientific integrity;
- foster cooperation with national and international scientific and professional organizations.
