Conference program
We believe that the most meaningful collaborations and innovative ideas often emerge during informal interactions. For this reason, ICCM 2026 will feature a rich and thoughtfully designed social programme alongside its scientific sessions.
The conference will open on Tuesday (Day 1) with registration, plenary, keynote and selected oral lectures. The afternoon session will be a WorkShop, followed by guided city tour of Kragujevac and a gala dinner at Hotel Industrial 1853. The walking tour will explore the city’s historic pedestrian zone, highlighting its Art Nouveau architecture and key landmarks, including the Old Church of Miloš, the Old Assembly Building, Amidža’s Konak, Prince Mihailo’s Residence, and other important sites reflecting Kragujevac’s role in modern Serbian history.
On Wednesday (Day 2), participants will visit Šumarice Memorial Park, a historically significant site commemorating the victims of World War II, including the 21st October Museum and its moving monuments set within a peaceful natural landscape. The day will conclude with a traditional Serbian gala dinner at an authentic local kafana.
Thursday (Day 3) will feature an organized excursion to Topola, including a visit to the Oplenac Mausoleum, the royal resting place of the Karađorđević dynasty, renowned for its remarkable mosaics. The evening will conclude with a gala dinner and wine tasting at one of Topola’s distinguished wineries.
The conference will close on Friday (Day 4) with the final lectures and WorkShop demonstrations, and farewell lunch, concluding four days of scientific exchange, cultural discovery, and professional connection.
Conference schedule
The detailed conference program and exact scheduling will be published shortly after the registration deadline expires.
